You're all moved in, the snacks are stocked, and those last-minute essentials are taken care of—college life is about to begin! But before you dive into Gamecock life, take a moment to say goodbye to the loved ones who helped you get here. And don’t forget—group pictures are a must!
You've unloaded—now it's time to park! Use the ParkUSC app to find a spot, and remember to avoid parking in unloading zones and official move-in areas so the next Gamecock can move in smoothly.
If you go shopping or go to dinner with your family, that is fine. If you leave campus, be prepared for traffic congestion when you return when other students are moving in during the day. You'll also be asked to move your vehicle away from the residence halls or apartments to make room for the next Gamecock moving in.
There will be a mandatory floor meeting that your student will have to attend on their day of move-in, only students can attend.
