Guidelines for Creating Effective Digital Signs
Keep in mind: digital signs are like billboards — viewers only glance at them for a few seconds.
Best Practices:
- Keep text minimal and to the point
 - Use strong visuals to grab attention
 - Include a short, readable URL if directing viewers online (submit a short URL request if needed)
 - Avoid advertising individual courses (focus on broader college events or announcements)
 - Follow the university’s brand guidelines

Proofreading Tip: Have at least one other person in your department review the slide before submission.
Design Specifications
To ensure your slide displays correctly:
- Size: 1920 x 1080 pixels
 - Resolution: Up to 96 dpi
 - File size: Up to 700k

Consider using the university’s digital signage templates for consistency.
